Born, brought up and educated in India – Literature Major with double degree in French and English Literature and Civilization, she is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, English and French and can communicate in various other languages and dialects of India.
She has spent the last 17 years in France (married to a person of French origin) and has been carrying out a series of projects and missions here in France. She is a consultant for various companies ( Indian and French), has set up exchange platforms for a variety of networks ( Tourism, IT, Fashion, Luxury brands, Literature, Art) working in close collaboration with a series of organizations like the Embassy of India in France. Ekta Bouderlique has been working as a business consultant for MNCs, (Pharmaceuticals, IT etc..) in India. This vital functional understanding of the business realities on both continents is what she brings to projects of MNC brands seeking Indian markets.
She is an experienced speaker at conferences on India-related subjects, is a free-lance journalist ( French and Indian press, radio, television and internet) and is involved deeply with a wide array of non-profit organizations.
She has also been a yoga trainer for several years now and keenly pursues her interests in humanities, religious studies, social sciences, literature, future studies, ecology, science, holistic living, philosophy and spirituality. Regularly meeting policy-makers and key people involved in the exchanges between India and France she has developed a very broad network in both nations.
Organizing events – concerts, B to B platforms, symposiums, art exhibitions and charity evenings – Ekta Bouderlique has experience, understanding and workings of cross-cultural issues that are at the root of the potential that India and France need to develop in the years to come. She travels regularly on both continents for her work.
